Currently, major OEMs and battery factories use airtight leak detectors to ensure that power batteries meet IP68 requirements. At present, most domestic OEMs and battery factories use the pressure drop method to test the air tightness of power batteries. The advantage of the pressure drop method is that it only cleans the compressed air source, the test cost is low, the operation is simple, the equipment cost is low, and the efficiency is high; the disadvantage is that the pressure drop method has a great relationship with the internal space of the power battery, and different battery system pressure drop methods allow The pressure drop value is also different.

When the airtightness test of the airtightness leak detector is performed, we need to seal the connector of the battery pack and find a port in the battery pack as a gas filling hole. Under normal circumstances, you will choose the explosion-proof valve or pressure relief valve port as the inflation port for the air tightness test. Therefore, it is necessary to make a simple plugging tool, which will be customized according to the customer's specific requirements. As for the connector sealing, since most customers' tests are still semi-automatic, many customers still choose to use manual glue sealing methods to seal the terminals. I believe that as the demand for automation increases, many customers will also choose to use automated air control clogging procedures.
